Our Premium Storage Shed Features

  • Tuffblock Foundation System

    Tuffblock foundation system allows us to level the shed on uneven ground. Each Tuffblock supports 1700lbs and an average 8 x 12 shed weighs about 2000lbs. We use a minimum of 8 Tuffblocks per 8 x 12 shed, so you can load it up without worry. 

  • White PVC Trim

    The first thing that deteriorates on a Shed is the trim boards. We eliminate that by only using PVC trim boards. The Trim never needs paint and they will never rot.

  • 4″ Roof Overhangs

    Our sheds have a 4″ overhang around the roofline to help keep the shed dry in bad weather.

  • Double Doors

    Double Doors Customize 4′ or 5′ double doors. Each door would be either 2′ or 2.5′.

  • 2x6 Floor Joists 16"o.c & 3/4 Advantech floor

    We use a 2×6 floor joist in all our sheds. Most other shed companies use 2×4’s. We use the best floors available. 3/4″ squeak-free Advantech subfloor.

  • Ridge Vents

    Ridge Vents provide better ventilation than gable vents as they are the highest point of the shed and run the entire length.

  • 30 Year Architectural Shingles

    We offer a choice of five popular shingle colors to choose from.

  • Locking Door Tee Handle

    Our doors have a locking tee handle with keys so that you can safely store your tools, mowers, and equipment.

How We Build It Right: The Lincoln Built Process

Initial Consultation
Schedule a 30-minute phone consultation to see if we’re the right fit for your deck, shed, or fence project. We’ll talk through your goals, timeline, and budget and provide rough pricing so you know what to expect upfront.

Site Visit
Want to walk the space together? We offer in-person consultations for homeowners in Central PA. This allows us to evaluate your property, take measurements, and give more accurate recommendations. A small fee applies and helps ensure dedicated time for your project.

Proposal, Design & Permits (Decks, Sheds & Fences)
You’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining your project scope, materials, and pricing. Once your contract is signed and a deposit is received, your project is officially scheduled. For larger projects we will start with a design phase, while we apply for the appropriate permits. For decks and fences, we create build-ready plans and handle the permitting process. If you live in an HOA, we can assist with approvals. Need a shed permit? We can take care of that too for an additional fee—keeping the process simple and stress-free. If you want to handle your shed permit, we’ll provide all the necessary documentation, including construction drawings and certificates of insurance, to ensure a smooth filing process.

Pre-Construction & Site Preparation
Before building begins, we prepare your site properly. This may include demolition of an existing deck or shed as needed, grading, and getting everything ready for a smooth construction process.

Construction Phase
Once permits are approved, we begin construction. Our team works efficiently while keeping your property clean and respected. You’ll receive clear communication throughout the build so you always know progress, timelines, and next steps.

Inspections & Quality Checks
We coordinate all required township inspections throughout the project. As we near completion, we’ll walk you through the project to ensure everything meets your expectations.

Project Completion & Final Payment
Once your project is complete and approved, final payment is due. For larger projects, we follow a clear payment schedule agreed upon in advance. We don’t consider the job done until you’ve signed off and are confident in the final result.

Yes, a shed may require a permit depending on its size and placement on your property. Each township and municipality has different guidelines that we adhere to. We’ll provide building plans and necessary documents for you to submit for permit approval or we can handle it for you for an additional fee.

Yes, a shed can be built on an existing concrete slab if it is level and structurally sound. A concrete slab and stable foundation helps prevent shifting, moisture issues, and long-term structural problems in your custom shed. However, if you do not have a concrete pad, we level all our sheds and use the Tuffblock foundation system that allows us to level the shed on uneven ground.
