Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does It Cost to Build a New Fence?
The cost to build a new fence depends on linear footage, material type, and installation complexity. Most residential fence projects are priced per linear foot and include posts, panels, and labor. A detailed consultation outlines exact measurements and materials so you understand the full project scope before construction begins.
Most residential fence installations are completed within two to five days depending on total length and material type. The process includes layout marking, post setting, panel installation, and final alignment. Proper scheduling ensures efficient installation while maintaining structural strength and clean finishing.
Yes, fence permits may be required depending on height, placement, and local regulations. Property line verification and setback requirements are typically reviewed before installation begins. Confirming guidelines early helps prevent compliance issues and ensures the fence meets structural and safety standards.
A solid wood or vinyl privacy fence is the best option for blocking visibility and reducing noise. Privacy fences typically range from 6 to 8 feet in height for maximum coverage. Proper post spacing and panel alignment ensure minimal gaps and consistent privacy along the property line.
Fence posts are typically set 24 to 36 inches deep depending on fence height and soil conditions. Posts are secured in concrete to provide stability and prevent shifting over time. Proper depth is essential to maintain structural strength and long-term durability.
Yes, old fences can be removed and replaced with new materials during the same project timeline. The process includes dismantling existing panels, removing posts, and preparing the ground for new installation. Replacing a fence improves security, appearance, and structural stability.
Fence maintenance depends on material type. Wood fences require sealing or staining every few years, while vinyl and aluminum typically require occasional cleaning. Annual inspections help identify loose posts, hardware issues, or early wear before major repairs are needed.
