So what size shed do you need?
First you have to stop and think about your specific needs. What are you going to use the shed for? Do you build a shed that fits your current needs or do build one where you have space to grow into? How much room do you have in your backyard?
Single Purpose Sheds/Gardening Shed
Are you looking to store a hand-pushed lawn mower, outdoor gardening and backyard upkeep tools? A single purpose shed would be perfect for you. Do you keep a little spice or veggie garden in the warm months? We recommend smaller sheds ranging in size from a 4×8 to a 6×12. These sheds are economical, include 1 window providing plenty of light.
Storage sheds
Are you looking for extra storage space separate from your home? Look to get something within the 8×8 to 10×12 shed range. This will allow you to safely store your seasonal storage boxes and have extra space for lawn mowers and outdoor gardening tools as well.
Pro tip, add a loft and workbench that helps maximize the use of your storage space.
Workshop/Multipurpose sheds
Do you need a ton of storage space and/or space for your hobbies like avid gardening, woodworking, building or creating? A large shed between 10×14 and 12×20 would be the perfect range for you. This will give you plenty of space to create, build and store everything you need. Our Multipurpose sheds are often used to store riding mowers, motorcycles, ATVs and more.
