You’ve booked your project, you’ve paid your deposit and you’re locked into the schedule. What happens when your start date rolls around? What’s our process like and what should you expect on the first day of the job? Watch the YouTube video below to learn more about our process.
When will we arrive?
Before your start date we’ll send you an email or text reminding you about the start date. The day of in the morning we’ll send you a text letting you know a 15 minute window of arrival time so you’ll know when to expect us. The reason for the time range is to account for loading up materials and tools, travel time, and traffic.
Do I need to be there?
For certain project’s we’d like to meet with you for a few minutes to finalize details. For example, if you are building a shed we’d walk the property, choose the site, determine the layout like where you’d like windows and doors. If it’s another project like a deck, sunroom, or pergola we’ll confirm the details that we’d already agreed upon before building. Once we’ve had a quick conversation you’re free to go about your day. You are welcome to come back and check out our progress or chat.
We’ll set up our tools and get started on your project. If anything is needed from you we’ll be sure to communicate via text or call and keep you in the loop of our progress.
Setting expectations
We will set expectations before we arrive so that we both have a clear understanding of timeline, details and how a typical day might run. But with construction, things change and we’ll be sure to communicate that with you so that you’re aware of any changes in timeline or progress.
At the end of the day
When we go to leave each day we will clean up the job site and leave things in a great condition so that you can keep use of your backyard space while we work on your project.
